Learn how to write letters to the editor, op eds, press releases, etc. to support the environmental movement.
Chris Zurcher, currently the editor and publisher of CT Environmental Headlines, will facilitate the workshop. He has had 20 years experience as an editor, a writer and a journalist including four years with The Associated Press and four-and-a-half years as director of communications and media relations. Chris will talk about strategies for getting in the press and publicity in general.

PSEG’s operating permit for the Bridgeport Plant has expired, and the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT-DEEP) is in the process of deciding whether to grant a renewal permit. Bridgeport residents and Connecticut citizens are calling on CT-DEEP to refuse this permit renewal request, and calling on PSEG to retire the Bridgeport plant.
